Angela Clark-Taylor, PhD (she/her) is a scholar and organizational leader with over 20 years of experience dedicated to advancing education, scholarship, and leadership. Her work focuses on growing women's leadership and developing equity-focused organizations. Driven by a commitment to creating inclusive communities where individuals of all identities have the access, opportunity, and resources to determine the course of their own lives. Angela's leadership has been recognized by the American Association for Women as an emerging leader, the International Council for Research on Women through the Community Innovation Fellowship program, and with the National Women’s Studies Association’s mentor award.

Angela began her career in community-based organizations, including Children’s Institute, Hillsides Alternative for Independent Youth and Emergency Services, and Planned Parenthood of Western New York. Her extensive experience as a scholar-practitioner spans education, health, and community-focused organizations, making her a valuable asset to any institution dedicated to gender equity and social justice.
Angela has held several significant positions throughout her career. She is currently an associate professor and chair of the doctorate in executive leadership and master's degree program in educational leadership at St. John Fisher University. She previously served as the executive director of the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women and a research assistant professor at the Mandel School of Applied Social Science at Case Western Reserve University. Prior to her time at Case Western, she was an affiliated assistant professor of education and director of the Center for Women and Gender Equity at Bowling Green State University, where she co-founded the Violence Prevention Center. Angela also served as a visiting assistant professor in the EdD program in education justice at the University of Redlands and held roles as program assistant and program manager at the Susan B. Anthony Institute for Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies at the University of Rochester.
Angela's research examines the relationship between leaders’ social identities and institutional structures to illuminate pathways for organizational change that serves the public good. Her scholarship has been honored by the American Education Research Association with the Selma Greenberg Award and has been published in esteemed journals such as the Journal for Higher Education Outreach and Engagement, the Journal of College and Character, Violence Against Women, and the Journal About Women and Gender in Higher Education. Her current projects focus on how organizational culture and workplace trauma shape workers' well-being and retention.

Skilled in public relations, Angela effectively communicates organizational missions and goals in diverse settings. Angela has a proven track record in program development, integrating gender equity scholarship with community engagement, and her fundraising and grant writing skills have secured significant funding through grants, corporate sponsorships, and fundraising campaigns.
